How long will delivery take?
On the product page we display the availability of each item along with the estimated delivery timescale based on our standard delivery service. The availability will state one of the following:
In Stock. Delivered within X working days.
These items are physically in stock at our 55,000 sq. ft. warehouse at Rathwood. The lead time advised is an estimation of how long it will take to arrive after you place your order.
Preorder Only. Dispatch by X.
These items are not in stock just yet, however you are able to pre-order them to avoid disappointment of us selling out. The estimated delivery date is based on when we expect the stock to arrive into our warehouse.
Order Now. Delivered within X days.
These items are held in stock by our supplier and will be delivered directly; the lead time is an estimate based on the supplier.
Out of Stock
These items are not in stock and we currently don't have additional stock due. Items with an out of stock availability are not available to purchase online.
We hope you will enjoy your purchase, but if there is anything you’re not satisfied with, please let us know. We always advise our customers to check their delivery once it arrives to ensure that they are happy with the product.
What happens when I'm not home to receive delivery?
For small items, instructions can be left detailing a secure location for our courier to leave your order. An example of this would be "Leave in porch if not in", or "If not in, leave with a neighbour". Please bear in mind that it is at your own risk allowing your goods to be left without a signature.
For large furniture sets a signature will be required, if you have not selected Next Working Day or Specific Day delivery, these orders will be pre-booked so you will know what day your goods will arrive. If you are not in on the day you have arranged for your order to be delivered, you may be charged for repeat delivery.
Where does my delivery go?
Our delivery partners are not able to access your property or garden, therefore deliveries are made to the front of the property. Palletised deliveries are advised as "kerbside or nearest hard-standing" meaning if the delivery partner has difficulties accessing the front of the property, the goods will be left by the kerbside.
What happens to the packaging?
To ensure your item(s) arrive safely, we may use additional packaging. On larger furniture deliveries we may use a pallet. Our delivery partners are not able to collect any packaging or pallets, therefore it is your responsibility to dispose of any cardboard and pallets. We advise recycling any packaging where possible.
DescriptionThe rubber plant is most typically found in southern parts of Asia, where it can grow as tall as 60 metres. It gets its name from the white latex coursing through its veins, which was once used to make rubber. The rubber plant is not often used for its latex these days. It’s much more popular as a houseplant, loved for its thick, rubbery leaves. Those big leaves like a lot of light. Direct sun can be too harsh, but lots of indirect light will make this ex-sports star very happy. It will also appreciate a feed with liquid fertiliser once per month in spring and summer.
Light watering: Water whenever the top two inches of soil are dry. It needs a lot less water in winter than in summer.
Bright light: It loves bright light but not direct sun. Place in a light room, but not right next to the window.
Humidity: These leaves absorb a lot of moisture. Spraying with a mister every few days will encourage healthy growth.
If you notice dust building up on those lovely leaves, gently wipe it off. It will keep the pores clean and let leaves breathe freely.
Did you know?
In parts of India, the rubber tree’s incredibly strong roots have been trained to form ‘living bridges’ over small rivers.
