Discover the wonders of nature with renowned gardening and biodiversity specialist, in this walk around Rath Wood Forest, an ideal location for nature enthusiasts of all ages. The forest is a sanctuary for many mammals, birds and insect species, within its 185 acres. There are a great variety of trees species from beech and oak, to Douglas fir and alder.

Why not put the family to the test and try out Rathwood's Maze of Ireland! This maze is planted in the shape of Ireland with every county built to scale. Each person will be given a map of Ireland and a pencil to fill out each county, there is a special number to find in each one. You can work together or have some fun and bring out your families competitive side to see who can complete the Maze first!
